PAAPAM’s three-day Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2019 concluded successfully at Expo Centre, Karachi. The event enthralled the audiences as thousands of car enthusiasts and a large number of vendors and new entrants participated in one of Pakistan’s biggest events for the automotive industry. Exhibitors from Thailand, China, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, and the Netherlands participated in the event. Stalls of 244 exhibitors, including 89 local and 106 international companies were present at the event. Three universities also took part in the event while procurement departments of Pakistan Railways, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Pakistan Army were invited to assess the quality of locally manufactured products.
Besides the new cars which were displayed at the auto show, there were some newly launched cars which were also showcased at the event. However, the newly launched 800cc United Bravo was missing in the event. Karachites were looking for the car but it was nowhere and it made people little disappointed that their favorite local hatchback is not displayed at the biggest auto show of Pakistan.
United Motors launched its new 800cc model Bravo in Pakistan last year in September. Standard features on United Bravo are power steering, air conditioner, a rear-view camera, infotainment system, fog lamps, alloy rims and keyless entry. The car comes with a price tag of PKR 8.95 Lacs which is fairly competitive when compared with other vehicles available in the market.
Bravo is a hatchback car with an 800cc 3-cylinder water-cooled engine capable of producing 40 BHP and 60NM torque. From powered windows to digital cluster meter, to touch display infotainment unit to reversing cam, the car comes with all the things most people demand from modern vehicles.
There is no other locally assembled mini-hatchback as equipped as this Bravo.
